Victoria is a struggling soprano who just bombed her audition at a tawdry Paris night club. Toddy is a gay entertainer who is barely holding onto his own job at the same club. When Toddy's ex mistakes Victoria for a man, Toddy dreams up the perfect solution to their problems--make Victoria a star as a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman. With "Victor" now the toast of the Parisian night club scene, complications and hilarity inevitably follow, especially when Chicago mobster King Marchan somehow finds himself falling for Victor.
