The Museum is operated by the Pensacola Historical Society, Inc. (PHS), the premiere historical organization in Pensacola. The Society's mission is to maintain publicly accessible research and exhibition facilities which promote scholarship, training, exhibition and publication.

On the first floor of the Museum you'll find our "Changing Exhibits" display area as well as our excellent gift shop. The Changing Exhibits area currently includes the Hotel San Carlos, Pensacola Commemorative Glass, Sailors, Snapper Fishing, Yellow Fever, West Florida Regional Library, and Slaves at Fort Pickens.

On the 2nd floor you'll be transported back through time to Pensacola's beginning where you'll learn about our Native American, Spanish, French, British, Civil War, Military, and Maritime roots.

Come and learn about Pensacola, one of the most historic cities in America.

School and other large groups are also invited to visit the Museum and receive guided tours. Advance notice is required. Please call the museum at 850-433-1559 for more information.

Click on the "Museum Store" tab to find out about the many books, souvenirs, and reproductions that are available in our museum store.
